A no-nonsense tackler in central defence, Craig Moore spent 12 years with Scottish club Glasgow Rangers after signing from the Australian Institute of Sport in 1993 - save for a season's hiatus south of the border at Crystal Palace.

On leaving Rangers, the former Australia skipper spent six months with German club Borussia Monchengladbach before joining English club Newcastle United on a two-year deal in 2005.

Moore missed the first seven months of the 2005/06 season due to a hamstring problem but returned to action in March.
