Deprtivo La Coruna defender Fabricio Coloccini has denied rumours which suggest he has already agreed terms with Barcelona.
Reports in Spain revealed that the Argentine stopper was on his way to the Blaugrana next season following his impressive performances with La Coruna.
But the defender has rubbished the rumours and he insists that he has not been approached by any club.
“I am a Deportivo player and as far as I know it remains like this for now,” the defender told Marca.
“Whatever has been said are just rumours which the press have come out with, there has been no approach for me by anyone, I have not agreed to anything.
“I don’t want to talk about my future now as it is not the right time. I intend to carry on playing for Depor and then we will see what happens at the end of the season.”
Coloccini’s contract with the Galician side expires in 2011 but Barcelona have been after him for a while and he may end up in Camp Nou given the Blaugrana’s defensive frailties this season.
