Sponsor Power Could Help Inter To Ronaldinho

Sky Sport Italia claims that Inter are still working to haed off AC Milan's bid for Barcelona star Ronaldinho, and are using the might of Nike to help them on their way... The braodcaster claims that, with AC Milan hastening their interest in the Brazilian superstar, Inter have moved quickly to stick their oar in.

President Massimo Moratti had already pledged to make an offer worthy of consideration, and it now seems that his son, Angelo Mario, has already been to Barcelona for talks.

Inter share with Barça and Ronaldinho a lucrative Nike sponsorship deal - something that AC Milan lack - and it is thought that this could tip the financial balance in the nerazzurri's favour.

However, AC Milan have apparently made a hefty offer to the player's representatives, giving him €8.5m a season in addition to his image rights.

As such Milan remain confident that they have the edge in terms of landing him, despite late competition from English upstarts Manchester City.
