Football Federation Australia today announced that an additional 2,000 Category C tickets have been released to the public for the highly-anticipated international match between the Qantas Socceroos and former world champions Argentina at the MCG on September 11 2007.

Football Federation Australia Chief Executive Officer, Ben Buckley, has urged football fans to purchase tickets for the September 11 match which will be a truly significant event.

"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the Qantas Socceroos compete against one of the top teams in the world in our own backyard, and I encourage fans to get in quick to take advantage of this new release," he said.

"The Qantas Socceroos are building ahead of our first 2010 World Cup qualifier in the new year and the road to South Africa starts against Argentina".
