Melbourne Victory Chairman Geoff Lord and players Rodrigo Vargas, Daniel Piorkowski and Matthew Kemp will be joined by Lord Mayor of the City of Melbourne, John So, to display the Mayors’ Cup in Chinatown tomorrow (Thursday, 28 June) morning at 9:30am.

Victory leaves on Monday for a week long tour of Asia, where it will face the China national team on July 4 in Hong Kong, and sister-city team Tianjin Teda on July 7 in Tianjin for the Mayors’ Cup. Specific details of the matches, including venues and ticket availability, will be announced tomorrow.

The tour will not only help prepare Melbourne Victory for its Hyundai A-League title defence, but will also help foster continuing relations between the City of Melbourne and sister-city Tianjin.
