PROGRESS in establishing match fitness is the goal again tonight (Tuesday) when Frank Farina’s men take on Souths United at Luxury Paints Stadium.
Kick off is at 7.15pm and Farina is hoping to add more sharpness as the first serious hit out against South Africa’s Supersport United looms on July 1st (Suncorp Stadium).
“Hyuk-Su, Lynchy and Spase won’t play but everyone else will get a run,” said Farina.
He added: “Spase has a little ankle niggle and we want him to have another week of training before he plays again.
“Tahj (Minniecon) isn’t back from the AIS and Danny (Tiatto) hasn’t moved up from Melbourne yet so obviously they’ll be missing too. There are a couple of locals that we want to take a look at and as ever I’m sure this game will be a useful exercise. It's all about picking up more and more fitness and match sharpness,” he added.
