Richard Kitzbichler, is still proudly flying the club's colours from his home in Austria, where his wife recently gave birth to the couple's first child.

Kaja Maria, was born on March 14th at 5:20am, weighing 3110g and "standing" 49cm tall. It didn't take long for Richard to adorn his baby girl with the Victory colours.

Kitzbichler, fondly remembered as the scorer of Melbourne's first home goal in the Hyundai A-League and winner of the inaugural Supporters' Player of the Year, reflected on his time in Melbourne, speaking direct from Austria.

"I do think a lot about my time in Melbourne, it was just fantastic. Of course, I'd love to be there to play at Telstra Dome in front of such big crowds." Kitzbichler said.

"I'd like to wish the team all the best for defending the title, and winning the Asian Champions League!"
