Sydney FC today announced that central defender Iain Fyfe has signed a new two-year contact with the Hyundai A-League club.
Fyfe, who has played all bar one of Sydney FC's A-League matches and started every game last season, is happy to be sticking around.
"The club has been brilliant to me and, even though there was a bit of interest from other teams, there was never any doubt in my mind I wanted to stay and help Sydney FC back to winning ways," said Fyfe.
Sydney FC chief executive officer George Perry said: "I am delighted Iain has re-signed with the club. Another piece of the puzzle comes together as the team prepares for the exciting challenges that lie ahead in the A-League and AFC Champions League competitions."
